Based between Dundee and the Isle of Skye (Scotland) Sara Oussaiden is an artist, curator and researcher who pushes to create opportunities that benefit local communities.

With a background in graphic design, stage management, and art educaton to younger years, Oussaiden uses a varied approach to engage in contemporary philosophical issues and approach them through a lens of lived experience. As a recent graduate in Art and Philosophy at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, Scotland, Sara looks forward to taking on new community engaged projects.

I do my best to document projects with my longest currently being From Inside which started during the first lockdown and is still ongoing as I try and get my zine to as many people as possible, from Schools, Hospitals and anyone who asks. I work with as many media as possible from textiles, Oil paints, Sculpture, Audio and Photography. Although my practice is yet to take me outside the UK I hope to travel the world and learn as much as I can from the people I meet on the way.
